	*Meet the District Superintendent!* Rev. Frank Sherman Frank graduated from Youngstown State University in 1968. Following graduation, he was employed by the Redevelopment Authority-Sharon, PA. In 1975, he left his position as Director of Real Property Acquisition to respond to God's Call to pastoral ministry. While pursuing a master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Frank served the Bridgewater UMC in Bridgewater, PA. Since 1978, he has served other churches in the Western Penna. Conference including: Johnstown (Roxbury-Hopewell 1978-79; Roxbury-Overbrook 1979-83); St. Marys (First 1983-93); Bradford (First 1993-98); and the Irwin (First 1998-2003). Frank has been active in conference responsibilities: camping counselor, camping chaplain, young adult advisor, Olmsted Manor, Board of Ordained Ministry, Trustees, Penna. Council of Churches representative, Mission Ambassador to Russia, Lay Speaker School instructor, and Committee on the Superintendency. Community activities have included; board member to various health organizations (ARC, Cancer Society, American Red Cross); Chaplain to Hospice (Elk Co., McKean Co., Three Rivers), and Norwin Ministerium. Frank says that, "more important than accomplishments or experiences, is my family." His partner in ministry for thirty-two years is his wife Becky. She has provided her gifts and talents of: music (vocal), teaching (church school, Vacation Bible School, women's retreats), worship (Clown Ministry), and more in the churches they have served. Their daughter Lori and husband A. J. are Physical Therapists in Winchester, Virginia. Frank notes that personal interests are: basketball officiating -PIAA, racquetball, and singing-Barbershop.
